Jessica Couser

Jessica Couser, originally from Yplsilanti, Michigan moved to Richmond, Virginia in 2010. She began studying West African Dance and Rhythm with Ezibu Muntu in 2012 under the leadership of Sister Faye Walker & Babadunjo Olagunke. With time, she has traveled the East Coast to study under various teachers from Lesina Martin with Farafina Kan, Jihan Vonhendricks with Keur Khaleyi to Mouminatou Camara and more. Jessica considers herself a student at all times even though she is in the position to teach/share her knowledge with the surrounding communities.
