Christopher-Gerard Harts

Christopher-Gerard Harts is a native of Portsmouth, Virginia currently serving as the director of the Gail Harts Performing Arts Academy, Inc. He was classically trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical/modern from the age of 2; he has further trained with multiple companies such as Eleone Dance Theater, Atlanta Dance Connection, Morgan State Modern Dance Ensemble, Howard University Fine Arts, Disney Cruises, Busch Gardens and various other performances throughout the country. Christopher received his education from I.C Norcom High School, Hampton University, and Howard University. As an undergraduate, he participated in Marching & Concert Band, as well as the percussion ensemble. Upon earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in English & Playwriting from Howard University, Christopher returned home as a dance and English teacher. He has impacted youth from Suffolk, Atlanta, Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach City Public Schools as a licensed educator and mentor. His perseverance and commitment to the Arts impacts youth and young adults throughout the Hampton Roads community.
